Objective
- To track and analyze the flow and utilization of funds allocated for HIV/AIDS prevention programs in Bangladesh.
- To assess whether allocated resources are being utilized efficiently and effectively for intended HIV/AIDS prevention activities.
- To identify gaps, discrepancies, and challenges in HIV/AIDS program financing and expenditure.
- To assess the adequacy and sustainability of financial resources for HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
- To generate evidence-based information for policymakers, program managers, and stakeholders to improve resource allocation and financial accountability.
- To promote greater transparency and accountability in the financing and implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
Major Activities
- Review and collection of relevant financial and program expenditure documents.
- Mapping and tracking of HIV/AIDS prevention funding from source to implementing agencies and program activities.
- Conducting interviews with key stakeholders, program managers, and relevant officials.
- Analyzing and comparing budget allocations with actual expenditures.
- Identifying financial gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in resource utilization.
- Conducting field-level data collection and verification of program expenditures.
- Preparation and dissemination of research findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
